GET TO KNOW ME
I first started practicing horticulture at the tail end of Spring 2018. I had recently returned from a bonsai exhibit in Montreal and was entirely fascinated by cultivating tiny trees as living art. The idea of combining both art and design so that a tree is maximizing in health and beauty sounded like a great creative outlet and long term journey.

BONSAI CALENDAR IN THE PNW (ZONE 8)
This calendar has been in the back of my mind since day one! I have read and heard many times the first question to ask yourself in gardening and bonsai is, "what is the goal?" A care and maintenance calendar is a guideline, but life is complex. I will be pulling from other resources and providing my own empircal experiences here.
BONSAI COLLECTION
As a novice bonsai enthusiast, I have many young, seedling trees in training. Here I will photo document their development.
BLOG SPACE
Overall, I am drawn to the idea of blogging about development of trees, new techniques, and discussing other related content but I am well aware of how tough it is to form new habits. I will do my best to update this regularly.
